Obituary
Annabelle (Adams) Mumbauer, age 88, died
December 14, 2006 in Akron, Ohio.
Annabelle was a lifelong resident of
Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. She was a homemaker who was noted for
volunteering her time to help her church with meal planning and
kitchen duties, and was a long time stalwart of Peanut Makers.
Annabelle, along with many helpers, prepared hundreds of meals
for church activities and sold thousands of bags of peanuts to
benefit her congregation, Christ United Church of Christ.
She was a loving wife and mother, preceded
in death by husband, Paul John and son, Paul. She was close to
her nephew, Richard Eckley and great-nephew, James Carl Scott,
who also preceded her in death.
She is survived and will be missed by her
daughter and son-in-law, Ardith and Bill Keck; niece, Dee
(Richard) Kraus; great-niece, Diane Scott (Jeremy) Arnett;
sister, Dorothy Adams (Carl) Eckley; brother, John (Marilyn)
Adams; dear friends, Tina Molemohi and Jill Ward; and other
nieces, nephews and friends.
Cremation has taken place and, at
Annabelle’s request, there will be no services. Family suggests
memorials to Christ United Church of Christ (75 East Market
Street, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania 18018-5992), Rockynol Retirement
Community (1150 West Market Street, Akron, Ohio 44313), or a
