Charles
Bright

Charles Bright one of the oldest citizens of Hellertown, died
Wednesday morning at his late home, 425 Main street
Hellertown, Pa.,
of complication of ailments, He was taken ill last Sunday. The
deceased was born at Milford township, Bucks county January
21, 1844. He was the son of the late John and Sarah Bright,
and is survived two daughters. Mrs. Amella Mauch and Mrs.
Mary Wirebach of Hellertown; two brothers, Michael and Frank
Bright, of Zion Hill Pa. two Sisters Mrs. Emma Bright also of
Zion Hill Pa. and Mrs. Lewis Butler, of Quakertown: five
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. For the past
forty years Mr. Bright was proprietor
of the general store at Hellertown. He was a tailor by trade
and followed that profession in with his store work.
The funeral will be held from the residence Saturday. Services
at 2 o'clock and interment at the Hellertown Union cemetery.
